Weekly Photo Tips

Since not everyone reading kimolsonphoto.com wants to learn more about photography, I created another site strictly for those wanting to improve their photography skills. It’s over at simplerphoto.com.

The focus of the site is to provide advice that’s simple, easy-to-understand and actionable.

I write 1 article a week on the blog and you can sign up for the Free Tips email to get it in your inbox every week.

If you feel like you want more personalized help, then check out my one-on-one photography lessons.

One-on-One Training

Do you feel like you’ve already read all the books you can read and you still aren’t creating the images you picture in your mind?

Are you a beginner and overwhelmed by all of the camera settings and tired of trying to make sense of the technical jargon?

Does it seem like you’ve plateaued in your creative abilities and are feeling stuck?

Wherever you’re at in your journey, I hear you. I’ve been there and I know what it feels like to be stagnant or unable to reach a new level in my photography.

Like anyone, I started at the beginning. But it’s only after poring over countless books, investing many hours in perfecting my craft & abilities and constantly shooting, shooting, shooting that I finally feel like I’m at a place where I’m happy with my work.

My goal is to help get you up-to-speed quickly and have you making photographs you love.

The Benefits of One-on-One Lessons

One-on-one lessons are an invaluable way to step up your skills and excel much quicker in the areas you need help with most.

Maybe you’re feeling held back by the need to do everything right and this stops you from being creative.

Maybe you need a little help post-processing your images to give them that extra pop.

Whatever you’re struggling with we can immediately address your needs.

I’d be honored to help you work on and improve your skills so that you spend less time fiddling with the camera and more time enjoying the process. Because photography is supposed to be fun! :)

Here are just a few examples of what I can help you with (or, if you have something else in mind not listed here and want to know if I can help, please get in touch with me and let me know).

  • Composition
  • Creativity
  • Lightroom (love, love, love Lightroom!)
  • Using Natural Light
  • Workflow (from shooting to downloading to backing up)
