Today I wanted to share a photo from one of my favorite places ever: the Dolomites of Italy.

This particular image was taken as my husband and I were riding up the chairlift in the Alpe di Siusi region of northern Italy. Alpe di Siusi (also known as Seiser Alm) is a huge meadow that’s surrounded by these ridiculously gorgeous mountain peaks. The Dolomites are made of limestone and they have a unique look that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
This region of Italy is truly one of my favorite places in the world and if you have the chance, I’d highly recommend a visit. :)

Your pictures of the Dolomites in Italy, have made me add it as one of my top picks in the world to go see. They do look majestic. The colors you’ve picked up in your pictures, the gray mountains, green valleys and blue sky are wonderful. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your thoughts about the area.
Glad you like it! If you go, I bet you’ll love it, too. The scenery is nothing if not dramatic & breathtaking. :)
