Delicious Food at Panzano’s Happy Hour – Denver, Colorado

We’re always on the lookout for good deals on food, and when it’s cheap, tastes great and it’s made with excellent quality ingredients, what more can you ask for?

One of the best Happy Hours for food we’ve come across is Panzano in Downtown Denver. They serve “contemporary Northern Italian cuisine” and you can indulge in a bit of their tasty goodness for an extremely reasonable (cheap, actually) price EVERYDAY (weekends included!) by hitting up their Happy Hour from 2:30-6pm. (Of course if you’re so inclined, you can pay their regular prices for entrees which start in the $20 range.)

But for Happy Hour, their prices are so good that we decided that was the way to go. We ended up trying a few menu items:

Herbed Tagliatelle:
Italian-herbed pasta tossed with grilled corn, haricot vert, toasted almonds and dried blueberries served over a sweet corn emulsion finished with micro basil.

Funghi Pizza:
Seasonal Colorado mushrooms, thyme, garlic, olive oil, provolone and white truffle oil.

Margherita Pizza:
Sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, fresh mozzarella, marinated olives with olive oil and garlic (smallish portion but super flavorful).

Pollo Val D’osta (my favorite!):
Lightly breaded chicken layered with prosciutto and fontina cheese over mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.

The sauce was so rich and delicious and the portion was actually quite generous. I’m not a big eater but this could’ve easily been enough for my main meal.

It’s not often you can find a Happy Hour with awesome food at incredible prices, so we were stoked to have found this one.

It was definitely very yummy! It looks like they’ve changed their menu, so I’ll have to go and see what’s new.
